The seminar, attended by over 150 participants, successfully highlighted critical issues through its dual-focus approach, addressing both anti-drug awareness and HIV prevention. Patrolman Marc Anthony Macasil and representatives from the KKDAT 2nd PMFC Chapter delivered compelling presentations on the dangers of drug use and the importance of community vigilance in combating substance abuse. Their insights emphasized the collective effort needed to create a drug-free society, resonating strongly with the engaged audience.
Equally impactful were the sessions on HIV awareness, led by Floramay T. Labalan and Catherine dela Fuente. Their discussions provided vital information on HIV prevention, treatment, and the importance of regular testing. By tackling both anti-drug and HIV awareness in a single event, the seminar efficiently maximized its reach and impact, educating the community on two pressing public health issues in one comprehensive and informative session.
